As the owner-operator of SVL since 2019, I’ve retained my position while strategically shifting my focus toward marketing and operations management. My journey in the landscaping industry began in 2019 with small cleanup and maintenance projects. Over time, we’ve evolved to specialize in custom outdoor spaces, including patios, retaining walls, and more. Passion for Landscaping: "I was inspired to start my business early because of my love for being outdoors and working in a less corporate environment. As we’ve transitioned into more hardscape and outdoor transformations, I’ve fallen in love with the little details and designs of our work. I strive for perfection and am always looking to learn new skills." Favorite Projects & Approach to Design: "NOTHING compares to a customer’s reaction after transforming their blank space into a timeless outdoor area." Favorite Project: "My favorite project at SVL is our current work on Sand Lake, repairing a previous contractor’s errors. This project is extensive, ranging from large retaining walls to unique fire pits and patios." Design Approach: "I approach design from a practical standpoint—identifying what the customer truly needs and can’t live without, then transforming it into something unique, clean, and built to last!"

With over 20 years in the landscaping industry, Keith Bryant brings a wealth of experience to SVL. Formerly the owner of a thriving landscaping business and having completed projects in some of the most prestigious locations in the USA, Keith's journey includes 15 years of successfully operating in the Tri-State area. In 2020, due to COVID restrictions, he closed his business and joined SVL, where he has been professionally designing landscapes and water features for the past decade. Passion for Landscaping: "My passion for landscaping, hardscape, and water features came from my dad. I built my first patio when I was 9 years old, learning a skill from my father that eventually turned into a rewarding career." Favorite Projects: "This may sound misleading, but all of the projects we have completed since I joined SVL have elements that I would consider my favorite. I get to design an ordinary yard into someone's dream come true. If I had to pick my favorite elements, I would choose a three-tier water feature I designed, which our team installed for a customer in Shoreland, Ohio." Approach to Design: "There are many aspects of designing a landscape or hardscape that come into consideration—what the space will be used for, whether the customer is open to creative design elements, or if they prioritize functionality. Regardless of my preferences, ultimately, it is the customer’s yard, and their vision is more important than my own. I do everything I can to guide the customer toward making the best decisions for their space and budget. We work closely with customers to bring their visions to life. Designing is not black and white—the possibilities are as endless as their imagination. I aim to show customers their ideas and dreams come together in 3D, so our installers can bring them to life."

With six years of experience in the landscaping industry, Nate has built a strong partnership with his good friend and boss, Sam Kale. Nate takes pride in overseeing projects and ensuring they meet the high standards set by SVL. Working closely with the dedicated SVL team, Nate’s role is to guarantee the seamless execution of landscaping projects. Background: "My journey began with hands-on experience in manual labor jobs alongside my father, focusing on hardscape and brush clearing. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills by taking on progressively larger projects, learning, and perfecting the details along the way." Passion for Landscaping: "I’ve always been drawn to working outdoors and creating beautiful outdoor living spaces for families to enjoy. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how thrilled customers are when their ideas come to life, and we deliver a space they can cherish." Skill Set: "My expertise continues to grow with every project as we take on larger jobs and perfect our techniques. My skills are especially strong in hardscape, including laying patios and building large-scale retaining walls, as well as plant selection and design."

As the 2nd Foreman and Crew Member at SVL, Parker brings nine years of diverse experience in the landscaping industry. His role contributes to the success of various projects by ensuring precision and maintaining exceptional quality throughout the process. Passion for Landscaping: "What initially inspired me to pursue a career in the landscaping industry was seeing it as a successful family business and wanting to follow in those footsteps. The aspects of landscaping I love the most are creating something useful and beautiful for the customer based on their unique ideas and inspirations. I enjoy the process of completing projects from start to finish—from the initial illustrated design to the final completion. Bringing an abstract idea to life is incredibly rewarding for me." Favorite Projects: "My favorite project is currently underway at Sand Lake. It has been a tough but rewarding job, rebuilding 10-15 ft retaining walls on a steep slope, but the result will be stunning once finished. My favorite types of projects to work on are patio installations—I enjoy the variety of patterns and designs they offer." Design Approach: "When it comes to designing projects, Keith does an excellent job. However, there are instances where on-the-job changes arise, and we typically make decisions as a team. When envisioning the design of an outdoor space, I aim to create a well-thought-out, functional area that harmonizes with the surrounding nature—a space that’s perfect for entertaining and relaxation."
